Raise Ready

Everyone teaches founders to pitch. Then the first investor asks for the data room, and there isn't one.

Raise Ready is one weekend where you build the things investors check first: the data room, the model, the deck. For your own business, with people who do this for a living.

The next cohort has no date yet. Join the waitlist and you'll hear first.

01

Why it exists

Raises stall in the follow-up email. The investor asks for the data room, and the founder starts building one that night.

Raise Ready is the weekend before that email. The questions come early, in a room where getting them wrong costs nothing.

Every figure gets checked against source before anyone else sees it. Same rule as HAM's capital and raising practice.

02

The weekend

  • Before you arrive. Send everything you have. Answer the questions investors actually ask, as voice notes, no scripting. We score you across six areas and build your weekend around the gaps.
  • Friday night. How investors decide, and where they will push on you.
  • Saturday. The build. Data room, financial model, deck, go-to-market plan. Specialists in the room, working on your numbers, not a case study.
  • Sunday. The pitch, under real questions. Torn down and rebuilt, then filmed as a short teaser.
03

What you build

  • A data room an investor can find their way round.
  • A financial model that matches your accounts.
  • A deck where the numbers and the words agree.
  • A go-to-market plan you can actually run.
  • A short filmed teaser for the follow-up email.
04

Who runs it

Steph Hamill, HAM's principal and Professor of Practice at Vogue College of Fashion. Specialists join for the model, the systems and the pitch.

05

Who it's for

Founders about to raise for the first time, at pre-seed or seed, including SEIS and EIS.

And founders who raised once, hated the scramble, and won't do it twice.

06

What it won't do

Raise Ready gets you ready. It doesn't raise the money, promise investment, invest in you or introduce you to investors. Tax and legal points go to your accountant and your lawyer.

No date yet. Leave your email and you'll hear first when the next cohort opens, with the dates, the format and what it involves.

One email when there's news. That's it, unless you tick the Steph Sense box. Ask to come off the list whenever you like.

We use your details to reply and send what you asked for. See our privacy notice.

Raising before then

The capital and raising practice does the same build one to one, on your timetable.
